GIFT EVENING
MISS RITA LAW HONOURED KOPUARAHI FUNCTION A very enjoyable evening was held in the Kopu hall, When the many friends of Miss Rita Law gathered to wish her well on her approaching marriage. She received many gifts. Music was by Herb. Walker’s orchestra. Mr E. O’Carroll was master of ceremonies and spoke on behalf of Miss Law’s friends. : ■Sfiss M. O’Carroll presented Miss Law with a gift on behalf of the
Kopuarahi women’s hockey team, of which she was a member and past secretary. Items wefe given by Messrs J. Smith (Kopu), G. Millar (Tuma) and D. Johnston (Thames). Monte Carlo winn6rs were Mr arid Mrs B. Miller. Supper was in the capable hands of the Kopuarahi women. *
