The recent high average attendance, nearly three times that of two years ago was maintained at the last meeting of the Cbroglen-Whenuakite branch of Federated Farmers, held m the Whenuakite hall recently. • Recent reports disclosed that there was no apparent change in the policy of compulsory acquisition of farm lands, in spite of the speech of the Minister’of Landsneady two months ago, a speaker. In«this confused situation, he said, it would appear jthat any fanner effected would be well to maintain the closest contact with Federated Farmers.
