NO PROPER LIGHTS
CAR DRIVER FINED
OFFENCE AT WHANGAPOUA
For driving a ear at Whangapoua with insufficient lights Arthur Howard George Abbott of Whangapoua was convicted and ordered to pay 10/- costs by Mr W. H. Freeman at a recent sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Thames.
The case for the prosecution was conducted by Mr K. R. McD. Sharpe, traffic inspector of Thames, Who informed the court that he had stopped defendant on the Whangapoua road and he considered that the road was too dangerous to be driven over with defective lights.
