FOUR HIGH CLASS HEIFERS
MR B. BURTON’S PURCHASES
Further strength has been added to Mr B. H. Burton’s Kereland Friesian stud at Kerepehi by the addition of a further four in-calf heifers recently purchased from the Rosedale stud at Dunedin. Three of the heifers descend from that great butterfat producing and brood cow Rosevale Catrina Griselda Posch, who has records of 5081 b. of fat at two years, 7111 b. of fat at four years and 8321 b. of fat at five years,
while the fourth is a descendant of Rosevale Sylvia Plus Keyes with records of 6191 b., 6601 b., 6991'b., 7431 b., 6641 b. and 6861 b. of fat.
•All four heifers are sired by imported bulls including Colony Caudrey Romeo 3 (Imp.) a son of Colonyi Fleta Heilo Canadian champion, lifetime milk and fat producer with four records over 10001 b. of. fat. All four animals are in calf to Rosevale Romeo Regina, first prize two-year-old bull Otago Centennial Show, 1048.
