WORK AT MANGATARATA 1493 YARDS FOR THE MONTH The output at the Mangatarata quarry for the month was 1493 cubic yards of crushed metal, reported the county engineer, Mr E. HazeldineBarber, to the May meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. Distribution: Main highways, 223 cubic yards; P.W.D. grants 614; roads maintenance 659; east water supply 2; sales, 4; total 1493.
