WAR MEMORIAL
PAEROA LADIES COMMITTEE PROPOSAL FOR STREET STALL A meeting of the ladies committee of the Paeroa and District War Memorial Committ© was held recently in the Paeroa Borough Council Chambers, the mayoress, Mrs Edwin Edwards, presiding. The following were present: Mesdames H. P. Wylde, J. J. Craig, J. Turnbull, H. Morrison, J. L. Brown, Bennett, R. McKenzie and Mr L. Shaw.
Mrs R. McKenzie was appointed honorary secretary of the committee and the following additions to the committee were made: Mesdames R. L. Darley, G. A. Gamble, C. A. Blackwood and W. Crimmins.
The meeting decided to apply for permission to hold a street stall on March 31 next.
