NOW COMPLETE
PAEROA FIRE COMMITTEE PERSONNEL NOW MADE KNOWN The complete personnel of the fire committee of the urban fire authority for the Paeroa district for the ensuing year has now been determined, stated a letter from the acting-secretary of the Fire Service Council, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington. The members of the committee are as follows:—
Appointed by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. E. F. S. Pett. Elected by the fire insurance companies, Messrs S. H. Head and L. J. Robinson.
Elected by the controlling local authority, Messrs. J. H. Walmsley and E. W. Lee.
The borough council’s recommndations had been accepted, stated the mayor, Mr. Edwin Edwards, and from the council’s point of view the position was quite sAisfactory.
