MOTHERS' CLUB
PAEROA PLUNKET SOCIETY DECORATIVE DEMONSTRATION r Just how interesting and decorative a few blooms (even rhubarb flowers), a little well worked plasticine and an old fashioned spiked weight placed in a vase could be made to look, was demonstrated recently to members of the Paeroa Plunket Mothers’ Club by Mrs Gordon of Waihi.
A very appreciative vote of thanks was accorded Mrs Gordon, who then judged blooms brought along by mem. bers as a competition. Mrs Tolley’s zinnia bloom was awarded first prize.
Supper, served by club members, concluded a very enjoyable evening.
