COROMANDEL BOWLS
ANNUAL MEETING HELD CLUB OFFICERS ELECTED The fortieth annual meeting of the Coromandel Bowling Club was held recently -and was well attended by the members. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mi W. J. Gamble; secretary and treasurer, Mr T. M. Lillis (re-elected); vice-pre-sidents, Messrs H. Hackett, R. McNeil and D. Stewart; committee, Messrs R. Holmes, N. Turner, M. Wilson, and W. J. Denize; centre delegate, Mr T. Sparling; hon. auditor, Mr A. S. Tonkin* green superintendent, Mr T. M. Lillis.
Prizes were presented to the winners of last year’s championships as follows:—
Singles champion, A grade, T. M. Lillis; B grade, R. Holmes; first year singles champion and Jolly cup, \V. Ewing; pairs championship, P. Hansen and T. M. Lillis.
