DRAIN FENCES
OWNER S LIABILITY CONFERENCE DISAPPROVES “ That representation be made to the Government for the introduction of legislation making the erection of fences alongside drains the full responsibility of the land owner,” was a remit which was brought before the New Zealand Drainage and River Boards Association at its annual conference held last month in Hamilton. The remit was supported by drainage boards from the Thames Valley areas but was lost on being put to the conference.
