AMBITIOUS SCHEME
SUPPORTED IN PAEROA “ You cannot have too much of this sort of thing,” said Mr E. Ward at the July meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce when discussing the application made by Messrs Edwards Motor? Limited for a license to run a “ Luxury Liner ” service from. Thames to Wellington via Paeroa.
“ The service should be welcomed by the people of Paeroa,” said Mr E. W. Lee. “It is a most ambitious scheme and Edwards Motors Limited should be written to and congratulated upon its enterprise.” Mr Lee then moved that the chamber give every support to the applies-’ tion, the motion being carried unanimously.
