ALL-TIME RECORD
NATIONAL SAVINGS FIGURES FOR QUARTER An all-time record has been created for investments in National Savings for the Thames postal district for the first quarter of the current year. A total of £95,266, which is well over two-thirds of the district quota of £138,684, has been invested during the first quarter. Two offices only have reached their full quotas, Te Teko and Turua, and in the latter place more than double the required amount has already been provided. The office is confident that, in spite of the increased quotas, last year’s record total of National Savings investments will be exceeded.
Receipts of district offices to date, with the percentage of quota obtained, are as -follows:—
