The bus, operated by N.Z. Road Services, had just left Paeroa for Tanranga when the accident occurred at about 5.40 p.m. while the car, which had a trailer attached, was travelling towards Paeroa. The car was driven by Mr A. W. Hood of Frankton June- • tion and was fully loaded but fortunately nobody was injured. The car was considerably damaged.
