PERSONAL
Monsieur Bouvee and son of the Department of Agriculture, Tahiti, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs A. McClean of Waitakaruru during their visit to New Zealand. Mr Stewart Graham of Thames has been appointed to the position of editor of the Te Aroha News. Mr Graham was trained on the staff of the New Zealand Herald and “has gained experience on the Haiiraki Plains Gazette and Thames Star. He will take up his position as from Monday, February 28. Mr B. Rehm of Mount Albert has been a visitor to Hikutaia and Whaiepoa. Mr G. Curtis of Auckland is guest of Mr and Mrs Hugh Morrison of Hikutaia. Messrs J. Pacey, A. Mohling and R. Paton of Waitakaruru are on a motor tour of the North Auck’.and. district. Messrs Pierce Williams of Waitau.ruru and P. Benner and J. King of Ngatea are spending a game fishing holiday at Mayor Island. Mr J. Kelliher of Wairoa has been holidaying with Mr and Mrs A. McClean of Waitakaruru. Mr G. L. Vivian of Kerepehi has been in Auckland attending the band contest. Mr R. Harvey of Kerepehi has been holidaying at Rotorua.
