COLDER JANUARY ( 43 DEGREES RECORDED 15 RAIN DAYS IN PAEROA Nearly four inches of rain fell in Paeroa during January’s 15 rain days. The 3.91 inches recorded was slightly above the average 3.76 inches taken over the last 34 years. The heaviest fall occurred on January 13 when 1.80 inches fell. The mean temperature for the month was 64.05 degrees, while the average maximum temperature was 73.46 degrees, and the average minimum 54.65 degrees. The hottest day of the month was January 22 when 82.1 degrees were recorded, and the coldest January 10 when 43 degrees were recorded. Barometer readings averaged 29.63 inches, the lowest reading of 29.23 inches being taken on January 16. A comparison of the rainfall since
