WEST DEFEATED

WIN FOR HIGH SCHOOL CRICKET IN PAEROA SPEECHLAY LN GOOD FORM In the club cricket game played on the Paeroa domain on Sunday, High School successfully accounted for West. High School batted first and compiled 217 runs, 90 of which came from the bat of C. Speechlay. This batsman was in a very forceful mood and included in his total were five sixes and seven fours. I. Kurtovich also batted well and his total of 59 included one six and six fours. The remaining batsmen, apart from W. Vince, 19, fell easy prey to the concerted attack of N.
