GOOD WORK
HOSPITAL MATRON
APPRECIATION OF BOARD The congratulations and appreciation of the Thames Hospital Board are to be conveyed to Miss W. M. L. Hill, matron of the Thames Hospital, for the manner in which she has conducted the hospital training school. A letter from the Nurses and Midwives Board, Wellington, had been received by the board praising the efforts which Miss Hill was making to maintain the high standard of training, despite existing staffing difficulties, and Mr J. W. Danby, chairman, remarked that it was very gratifying to receive such a letter. “ The board realises that the maintaining of the high standard of the training school is due almost entirely to your unaided efforts,” stated a letter to Miss Hill from the board, “ and the board feels that a complimentary report such as this is in itself a high testimonial to you personally for the work you have done.”
