“ SUDDENLY ITS SPRING * PROGRAMME AT REGENT LOVE AND LAUGHTER As welcome as the flowers of spring is the attraction showing Friday and Wednesday at the Regent Theatre, “ Suddenly It’s Spring.” This newest Paramount arrival, which stars Paulette Goddard and Fred Mac Murray and features Macdonald Carey and Arleen Whelan, is literally refreshing as a spring, with the love and laughs blooming all over the place. Paulette Goddard, looking more bewitching -than ever, plays the part of the wife who returns from the wars to find her husband, Fred Mac Murray, paying court to a luscious red-head, Arleen Whelan, and her attendant efforts to get rid of the red-head and 1 regain her husband make for some of the most delicious clowning over seen on the screen. Drainage Work One hundred and fifty feet of six inch tiles have been used in the drain in front of Mrs Seymour’s property in Willoughby street and this has been levelled off and coveted with soil.
