GOATS AT PURIRI
(To the Editor) Sir,—In reply to an article appearing in your paper of May 24 regarding the goats to be shot on the Hauraki Plains County Council’s property at Puriri, the water supply supervisor stated that the bush was damaged as if a large herd of deer had been in it. I wonder if the Hauraki Plains County Council would like to know just why the adjoining neighbours are forced to keep goats. I am, etc., C. M. KELLY, Puriri.
