NATIONAL DANCING

INTER-STUDIO COMPETITIONS ENJOYABLE DAY SPENT A very enjoyable day was spent at the Civic hall, Paeroa, on Saturday, May 22, where the inter-studios dancing competitions took place. There was a large attendance of patrons and some forty-three competitors took part.

The judge, Mrs McKenzie, spoke on the high standard of the dancing which reflected great credit on the teachers. She also paid tribute to Mrs A. Tilsley for promoting the competitions for the children. The pipers were Messrs T. McDonald and A. Stevenson. Appreciation was expressed to Mr D. Murdoch and the ladies for their valuable assistance. Results were as follow:—
