CONTROL OF CHILDREN
WARDEN TO BE APPOINTED
The question of the installation of a pedestrian crossing in Coromandel was discussed at the May meeting of the Coromandel Chamber of Commerce.
The secretary reported that he had been in touch with the Transport Department and it- had been suggested that a school warden be appointed to ■control the children crossing the street. If this was not successful further efforts would be made to obtain a pedestrian crossing.
