DOMAIN IN PAEROA
ATTRACTIVE APPEARANCE
The attractive appearance of the Paeroa domain was referred to at the April meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council when remarks passed by a visitor to the town were mentioned. Cr. W. N. Chamberlain said he would like to congratulate the domain committee on the state of the Paeroa domain. He said he had heard it described recently as one of the nicest domains in the South Auckland area.
The town clerk, Mr M. C. Baker, said that visiting cricketers had commented in the same manner, stating that the domain was equal to any they had seen. It was mentioned that the condition of the domain would be a great benefit to hockey this year and it was possible that some important games might be played in Paeroa.
