Paeroa Men’s Hockey Team
The following team will represent the Paeroa Men’s Hockey Club on Saturday when they play Kaihere at Kaihere; L. Bogue, K. Beale, J. jjherson, F. Baker, D. Martin, N. Kemp, W. Kemp, R. Kemp, A. Davies, N. Cameron, L. Whisker, E. Tibbotts, J. Kidd, D. Murdock. The team will leave office at 12.15 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.
Bad Stretch of Road “ I travel hundreds of miles and I do not know a worse stretch of road than the Turua-Netherton road,” commented Cr. D. G. McMillan at the April meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council.
Plains County Council The April meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council was held at Ngatea, the county chairman, Mr C. W. Parfitt, presiding. Others present were Crs. J. F. Mayn, D. G. McMillan, W. H. Cheale, C. W. Schultz, F. .Pinchess, A. H. Sutton, T. O’Carroll, H. Hayward, the county clerk, Mr E. A. Mahoney, and the county engineer, Mr E. HazledineBarber.
