POSSESSION OF HOUSE
CLAIM BY COUNTY COUNCIL
£l5 ARREARS IN RENT
A claim for the possession of a house occupied by Andrew Neil Compton, was made by the Coromandel County Council, 'before Mr W. H. Freeman, S.M., at the November sitting of the Coromandel Magistrate’s Court. The claim was made on the grounds of unpaid rent. Mr A. S. Tonkin, representing the council, said that the defendant had a judgment summons issued against him in August for failing to pay his rent, and since them he had become a further £l5 11s 5d in arrears.
Possession was granted, to be suspended if the rental arrears and court costs were paid in 14 days.
