RECORD SALES
HEALTH STAMP CAMPAIGN COROMANDEL POST OFFICE October’s sales of Health Stamps from the Coromandel post office amounted to the record sum of £54 18s 7d. The total for the month was greater than what was realised in the town during the two previous years. In addition to the money from the sales of stamps a further sum of £5 '7s 6d has been received from the promoters of the wood chopping events held during Labour week-end. This was received as a straight out donation and has been transferred direct to the health campaign movement and will be held for the benefit of future entrants to a health camp from Coromandel.
