Public Notices QOUNTY OF COROMANDEL BRIDGE RATE THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926 Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and amendments thereto, if any, the Coromandel County Council has resolved that, in addition to any general and special rates authorised by the Counties Act, 1920, a Special rate to be called a Bridge Rate be made and levied for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of bridges under the jurisdiction of the said Council. Such rate not in any one year exceeding the amount of Three Farthings in the pound on the Capital value of all Rateable property in the County and such rate being of such annual amount as the Council may each year and from year to year fix by Special Order. I, Ernest Deeble, Chairman of the Coromandel County Council,’ hereby give notice in pursuance of Section 11 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, The Local Election and Polls Act and Amendments thereto and of all other Acts thereto pertaining, That a poll of the Ratepayers of the County of Coromandel will be taken on the above mentioned proposal on Wednesday, the 19th November, 1947, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the undermentioned polling places: Coromandel, the Courthouse; Kennedy’s Bay, the Hall; Whitianga, Clark’s Transport; Kereta, Mr P. Russek’s; Port Charles, the School; Coroglen, the Hall; Moehau, the Quarries; Colville, Memorial Hall; Kuaotunu, Centennial Hall; Ahimia, the Hall; Port Jackson, Mr J.
