Donation To Hall Fund
The secretary of the Mercury Bay Hall trustees has received a donation of £lO 12s 6d towards the hall building fund, from the United (Whenua-kite-Coroglen) Basketball Club. This amount was the proceeds from a successful dance held at Whenuakite. Councillor Pleased Work done in the Whitianga township was referred to at the August meeting of the Coromandel CountyCouncil by Cr. R. A. Simpson. He said that it had been very effective and well done, and at a' reduced cost. He was, very pleased with it.
