Cyclists In Paeroa
Paeroa was the half-way mark for the Morrihsville Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club’s annual road race on Saturday. There were about 50 cyclists who took part in the race from Morrinsville to Paeroa and 'back. Members of the Paeroa Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club acted as stewards at the turning. Basketball Team The following girls have 'been ■selected to represent the Paeroa Bas-, ketball Association at the annual-, tournament to be held by the RotoruaBay of Plenty Basketball Association at Rotorua on Friday and Saturday next, September 5 and <5: L. Johnson, C. Shaw, M. Gerrand, H. Royal, P. Harold, G. Potter, V. Taylor, V. Shaw and R. Mclntosh. Emergencies: M. Shaw and R. Hopping.
