NGATEA HIGH SCHOOL

PRIMARY CHILDREN

MOST ENJOYABLE EVENING

The annual fancy dress ball of the Ngatea District High School primary department was held recently. A large number of pupils and parents and friends attended and the evening was most successful. As the function was primarily arranged for the children the greater part of the evening was given to their dances. The following was the programme that was arranged for the children:— Standards 1 and 2, Brighton camp; ■primers, polka; forms I & 11, waltz; standards 3 and 4, rufty tufty; primers, clap dance, shoemaker dance; standards 1 and 2, skating away; forms 1' and 2, three-step polonaise; standards 9 and 4, gathering peascods; primers, round the village; standards 1 and 2, valeta; standards 5 and 6, maxina; standards 3 and 4, waltz; primers, here we go round the mulberry bush; standards 1 and 2, jingle bells; forms 1 and 2, the jolly miller; standards 3 and 4, the black nag; standards 1 and 2, zip coon; forms 1 and 2, lancers; standards 3 ■and 4, three step; forms 1 and 2, statue waltz; standards 3 and 4, military two-step; standards 3 to 6, supper waltz.
