LIBEL CLAIM
CASE STRUCK OUT FULL APOLOGY PUBLISHED A claim for libel brought by D. M. Denize against V. Venables was struck out by Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., at the August sitting of the Coromandel Magistrate’s Court. Mr M. A. Brook, who appeared for plaintiff, said that a full apology had been published and the amount for damages had been paid. He asked for the case to be struck out. This was agreed to.
