At the November meeting of the Coromandel County Council, the chaii - man, Mr E. E. Deeble, referred to the transfer of Mr C. Christie, stocK inspector for the Department of Agriculture, Thames, to another district. A vote of thanks to Mr Christie for the valuable service he had rendered to the district was passed by the. council.
