Public Notice THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE BOARD GENERAL RATES, 1946-47. Notice is hereby given in terms of Section '54 of “ The Rating Act, 1925,” that it is intention of the Thames Valley Drainage Board at a meeting to be held in its office. Rewi Street, Te Aroha, on Thursday, July 11, 1946, at 10.30 a.m. to make- and levy under Section 31 of “ The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” a-nc Section 3 and 4 of “ The Lane Drainage Amendment Act, 1913,” a General Rate upon the unimproved value and upon a graduated scale according to the classification of the lands within the several subdivisions of the Thames Valley Drainage District in the following proportions and rates: —Within the Hungahunga Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3d, upon lands classed u B ” 2ld and upon lands clas'sed “C” 2d. . Within the Manawaru Subdivision : upon lands classed “A” 25-16 d, upon land’s classed “ B ” 2 l-16d„anc upon lands classed “C” 1 13-16 d. Within the Waihekau Subdivision upon lands classec “A” 3 3-16 d, upon lands classed 11 8 ” 213-16 d an,d upon lands classed “C” 23-16 d. Within the Tahuna Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3 15-16 d, upon lands classed “ B ” 3 upon lands classed “C ” 2 15-'l6d. Within the Waihou Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 3 5-'l6d, upon lands classed “ B ”, 213-16 d and upon lands classed “iC ” 2-5-16 d. Within the Elstow Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 4 l-'Bd, upon lands classed “B” 3 and upon lands classed “O” 3 l-Bd. Within the Awaiti Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 44d, upon lands classed “ B ” 3f d and upon lands classed “C ” 3d. Within the Waitoa Subdivision upon lands classed “A” upon lands classed “ B ” 2|d and upon lands classed “C ” 2d. Within the Whakahoro Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 2|d, upon lands classed “B ” 2' d and upon lands classed “ C ” 2|d. Within the Tatuanui Subdivision upon lands classed “A” 31d, upon lands classed “ B ” 3d and upon lands classed “ C ” 2-1 d. Within the Waitoa River Separate Rating Area upon lands classed “A” 2|d, ( upon lands classed “ B ” Hd arid upon lands classed “C” 7-32 d. All per pound upon the rateable value for the year commencing April 1, 1946, and ending March 31, 1947, and payable to the Clerk to the Board on the 31st day of July, 1946. The rate books and Rating Rolls are now open for inspection at the office, of the Board during office hours. Any Objections 1 to the above proportions to be lodged in writing to the undersigned before 10.30 a.m. on the 11th day of July, 1946.
