PRETTY WEDDING

CEREMONY AT CHRIST CHURCH HOLTOM—PETERS The marriage took place at Christ Church, Coromandel, on Wednesday, March 8, of Marjorie Lois, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Peters of P'aekakariki (late of Coromandel) and Arthur Ernest Wincott, younger son of Mr F. H. Holtom of Coromandel (late of Paekariki). The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E. T. Leef, and the organist was Mr Crabb, who played the wedding march as the bride entered the church which had been tastefully decorated with white flowers by friends of the bride.

'Entering the church on the arm of her father, the bride presented a charming picture. 'She wore a trained gown of crea'm satin, and an embroidered tulle veil held in place with a coronet of orange blossom; she carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and' maidenhair fern. She was attended by her cousin Miss Dorothy Irving of Hamilton .as bridesmaid, who wore a picture frock of pink georgette, with a halo cap to match and carried a bouquet of pink laculia and chrysanthemums. Mr Harold Holtom, brother of the groom, was the best man. i After the ceremony a reception wa ( s held at the G'olconda hotel where Mrs Peters, wearing a deep blue suit with black hat and accessories assisted byMiss J. (Holtom (sister of the groom), wearing a delphinium blue suit, received the guests. ,

The tables were decorated with pink and white chrysanthemums, and a magnificent two-tier cake graced the head of the main-table. Mr H. O. Denize acted as toast master.

; The veil worn by the /bride had been worn by her sister-in-law' in England, Mrs L. Peters, and was sent out for this auspicious occasion.

The bride’s going away frock was of coral pink material and she wore a camel hair coat with black hat and accessories.
