MEDAL STABLEFORD PLAYED BEST AGGREGATE TO H. THORP Ideal weather prevailed, for golf last Saturday and members of the Paeroa Golf Club enjoyed pleasant conditions when a medal stableford was played, some good scores 'being recorded. The following are the best cards handed in:—-H. R. Thorp 2'6—10—36; J. R. Kidd 26—J8—<34; E. Lee 20—14 —34; F. L. Clark 1'8—14—32; P. R. Hubbard 17—14—31; H. Morgan 25— 6 3'l; W. F. Johnstone 16—14—30 and R. Harris 14 —11—25. A medal round played at the weekend was won by J. Jensen, with a card o f 90—20—70; next to follow being H. Morgan 79—8—'71; W. E. Tubman 719 .6 73; F. ’L. Clark 91—18 —73 and T. L. Williams 94 —20—>7’4. A medal round played recently was won by J. Craig with a card of 90— 24—66; W. E. Tubman 77 : —6 —71; K. Morrison 101 —<30—71; F. L. Clark 91—is —7'3 and W. 'F. Johnstone 92 —l9—7'3.
