TRAFFIC OFFENCES
NO BACK NUMBER PLATE UNLICENISED TRAILER USED At a sitting of the Paeroa Court on Monday before Mr W. H. Freeman S.M., the . following traffic offences were dealt with. 'On a charge of operating a motor vehicle at Ngatea on February 28, with no back number plate, Katikati Transport ’Litd., were fined £1 and costs 10/-. .
On a charge of using an unlicensed trailer on the Paeroa-Pokeno main highway on February 13, Sinclair Edmonds was fined 107-. costs 12/-. Traffic Inspector K. R. Sharp, now of Whakatane, said that when he stopped Eldlmonds the trailer had not been licensed for the current year. Edmonds had said that he seldom used the trailer on the road but that day had taken it into Paeroa to pick up a load of potatoes.
