CUTS OPPOSED
ALLOCATION OF POWER RESOLUTION FROM PAEROA At a meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce last week it was decided to forward the following resolution to the Thames Valley Electric Power Board: The Paeroa Chamber of Commerce requests the board to strongly oppose any further cuts in power allocation in the country districts. It was pointed out that country districts had already made voluntary cuts and at present are suffering some degree of hardship through inadequate lighting.
