ANNUAL MEETING HELD OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Huirau road Branch of the Women’s Division lof Farmers’ Union took place at the home of Mi’s iG. Scott who presided. The points’ prize for the competition for the year was won by Mrs T. Lowe. The best bloom points’ prize .was won by Mrs Fox.
■ The president’s report, the sales table and presentation fund balance sheet, and the balance sheet were presented and received. .. The election of officers resulted:— President: Mrs G. Scott (re-elected); vice president: M'rs W. Maunder; secretary: Mrs K. Fox; treasurer: Mrs Hamerton.
Mrs Lowe, who for the past three years has been secretary, wished to be relieved of . her duties and it was. with deep regret that her resignation was received. Mrs G, Scott was re-elected president for a fourth term of office.
