GAMES SATURDAY WEEK
PEACE CUP CHALLENGE
A meeting of the management Committee of the /Paeroa Rugby Union was held in the pavilion of the Paeroa Domain on Monday evening, Mr ,W. F. F. Faber presiding. Others present were: Messrs K. Fitzhenry, C. Treanor, R. Todd, R. Harris, B. Kelly, V. Alley, G. Parsons, J. Sinnett, F l . Craig and the secretary, Mr A. Bradburn.
The Morrinsville Rugby Union wrote accepting Paeroa’s challenge for the Peace Cup.
The following clearances were approved:—E. Wintie, from Te Aroha to United; Bert Maunder (Turua to West); F. Martinovich (Pirongia to West); A. Cassrelis was regraded illllllllllllllllllllllillllllllllllllllllllllllllltlllllllllllPllHlllliHlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllim
from senior grade to juniors. It was decided that no matches be played next Saturday, May 11, but Ne'therton and Uinfted were given permission to play week-end gam&s. Captain M. G. Fowler was unanimously appointed official coach for the senior representative team. It was arranged to dk>nate footballs t'o the following schools: —Hikutaia 1, Netherton 1, Tirohia 1, Komata 1, Karangahake 1, Convent 1, Paeroa Primary 2. The following games were arranged for Saturday, May, 1'8:— Senior Te Aroha B v Paeroa at Paeroa. Junior Hikutaia v West; United v Netherton.
