Mattresses; Orion Stove, in good order; Steel Butter Churn; Separators; Wringer; Vacuum Pumps; Jack Pump; Water Pump; Cream English Prams, several, condition as new; Coils Steel wire;.Skim Milk Pump; Assorted Men’s Clothing; Footwear; Books; Oddments; Sundries, etc. Phone 295 ' Public Notice COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following Special Order was passed at a Special Meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council on the Bth. day of May, 1946, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the said Council on the 12th. day of June 1946, in the County Council Chambers at Ngatea:— SPECIAL ORDER In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Section 13 of the Physical Welfare and Recreation Abt 1937, Section 17 (d) of the Local Bodies Loans Act 1926, and all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Hauraki Plains County Council doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order as follows: — 1. That the Council raise a loan of £2OOO for the purpose of purchasing all that parcel of land described as (Section 10 Block VII Waihou Survey District being an area of 149 acres 2 roods more or less. 2. That interest at a rate not exceeding £3/10/0 per centum per annum be paid on the said loan. 3. That the said Loan together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal half yearly instalments extending over the term of the loan. 4. That the term of the said , loan shall be of twenty years. June, 1946, no Motor Drivers’ Licenses will be renewed by post as heretofore. This is on account of’ new regulations governing the issue of licenses, and personal application will require to be made in every case. As in the past, licenses may be renewed at the following places provided applicants make request by ’phone or letter to have their application cards forwarded where desired: Borough Council, Morrinsville. Thames County Council, Thames. Ohinemuri County Council, Paeroa. Any arrangements which may be made for issue of licenses in outlying places will be advertised in due course. E. A.
