GROWTH ALONG ROAD
COMPLAINT TO THE COUNCIL SCRATCHINIG PAINT OFF BUS The Ohinemuri County Council at its April meeting received a request from Mr A. Woodward, secretary for Waihi Buses, Waihi, that attention be given to clearing the growth of gorse and blackberry along the Pukekauri road, Waikino. The complainant stated that much damage was being done by overhanging growth to a vehicle used for the car. riage of schoolchildren oh this road. The county engineer, Mr L. E Shaw, said that there had been a big improvement on this road but there were still two patches to be cleared. It was decided to notify the property holders concerned to clear the growth which was causing com. plaint. It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the county engineer, Mr L. E. Shaw, to interview Mr Bradburn.
