BLACKBERRY ON THE PLAINS OPINION O>F OR. A. H. SUTTON Blackberry will become a bigger menace than, ragwort on the Hauraki Plains was the opinion expressed by <Cr. A. H. Sutton at the April meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council. He pointed out that blackberry was today appearing in parts of the Plains where it had never appeared before. Plants were being established all along the drain banks and it was difficult to control in such places.
