To clean playing cards, dissolve soap-flakes- in warm water, dip in a small sponge, -wring dry and- r.ub each card separately, doing it quickly and lightly so that the glaze will not be affected. Dry lightly with soft dry cloth, iron each card lightly with a hot iron, stack neatly, put a heavy weight on top and press for one hour. Cheap cards' can be done once; good ones four or five times.
