ANOTHER FIRE

GORSE ALONG STOPBANK PAEROA BRIGADE CALLED OUT A fire which started in some gorse and rubbish between the river and the stopbank near Mr Fieldon Thorp’s house, Old Te Aroha road, Paeroa, on Saturday night spread rapidly- and as it was near the house the Paeroa Fire Brigade was called out. Although the fire had quite a strong hold the brigade soon had it under control and no serious damage resulted.
