PRE-WEDDING PARTY
MISSES HOPPING HONOURED AN ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON A very* enjoyable surprise afternoon was held recently when friends and! neighbours gathered at the home of Mrs G. Hopping to honour her daughters, Misses T. and F. Hopping, who are shortly to be married 1 . . Competitions were held and during the afternoon Mrs J. Mitchell rendered a solo, “The Dear Little Shamrock.’’ After afternoon tea, which was supplied by the ladies, Misses Teresa and Frances Hopping were requested to open the gifts. They both thanked their friends for the delightful and useful presents, and Mrs Hopping also thanked those present for coming along and making it such a pleasant afternoon. Those present included: — Mesdames C. Clune, J. Mitchell, W. Robson, G. Elvidge, Jamieson, J. Murray, J. McCormick, J. Keith, H. Woods, L. Marshall, Duff, Shaw, D. Payne, Saunders. Misses M. Power, Clarkin, J. Elvidge, M. Hopping, J. Brady, R. Hopping, M. Murray, M. Ryde.
