A FINAL CHALLENGE

AN ESCAPABLE QUESTION TO BE FACED BY ALL

(By

E.H.B.)

Week by week for the past twelve months, this column has sought to present to readers in simple form, the Gbspel of the Lord Jesus Christ. AU

aspects of Bible truth have been proclaimed' in an earnest endeavour to show men and women that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John S'i'KJ), It has been shown that "all have steed' aad come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3.23) and that He "now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.” (Acts' 17:30). The teaching of Jesus that "except a man be bom again, he cannot see the Kingdom <rf God,” (John 3 J), has been dealt vift and the importance of this great truth emphasised. Readers have been reminded of the solemn*fact that "it is appointed unto man once to die but after that the judgment,” (Heb. 9:27) that to die unrepentant and with one’s sins* unforgiven means banishment for , eternity from the joys of Heaven to the woes of Hell, but that "there is no condemnation to those which are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1) and that “He is able to save to the uttermost them that come to God by Him.” (Heb. 7:26). On that great and awful day when we all stand before the ’ judgment seat of Christ, there is not one who has read these articles who will be able to plead ignorance of ■ God’s ’Way of Salvation. JesusChrist has been presented to you, reader, as the only Saviour, and "there ; is none other Name under heaven, given among men whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4.12). Now you are faced with a challenge. It is the same challenge that confronted Pilate when Jesus stood before him. You must ask the same question that Pilate asked: “What shall I do then with Jesus, which is called Christ?” (Matt. 27:22). Either you accept Him as your Saviour, or you reject Him so that He becomes youi* Judge. You may decide. What will your answer be? “What will you do’ with Jesus? Neutral you cannot Ibe, Someday your heart may 'be asking, ‘What will He do with me?’” —P.B.A.
