THAMES TROTTING CLUB INTEREST IN ANNUAL MEETING In: welcoming the large attendance at the annual meeting of the Thames Trotting Club last week, the president, Mr W. B. Teasdale, said it aug-ured-well for the future of the sport. The election of officers resulted as follows:— Patron, Mr J. Thorn, M.P.; president, Mr W. B. Teasdale; vice-presi-dents, Messrs E. J. McLoughlin, D. Mackay, R. M. Rhodes, E .Watson; stewards, Messrs J. E. Arbury, H. Bax, J. Casey, C. H. Coakley, A. Currie, H. P. Donkin, C.. J. Elliot, J. P. English, H. E. Harden, G. E. Hawkins, C. J. McPike, G. G. Smith; committee (four retiring), Messrs E. Elliot, H. G. Murray, A. E. Rabbidge, R. J. Rolfe. In view of two extra days Hbeing granted the amalgamated . clubs, but no immediate prospects of a meeting at Thames, it was decided to fix the annual subscription at 7s 6d. Mr C. E. Elliot made a suggestion that the club draw the interest on its ■War Loan investments for the benefit of the Returned Services Association. Mr J. Mahoney was elected a member.
