Mr R. Hobbs, of Mt. Albert, Auckland, has been visiting his mother, Mrs W. . Marsh, Bradley street, Paeroa.

At the annual spring conference of the Auckland provincial branch of the New Zealand ©airy Farctory Managers’ Association held at the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company’s grading department, Mr K. McKenzie, of the Hauraki Plains Co-operative Dairy Co., Turua, securedi second! place in both the butter and cheese grading competitions. In the butter competition, Mr McKenzie gained 98 points, the winner securing 98i points while in cheese he gained 99i points against the winner’s' 100 points.
