BEEF KEENLY SOUGHT AVERAGE YARDING PENNED The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report on their sale held at Ngatea on Wednesday last as* under:— There was an average yarding penned and an exceptionally good sale resulted with a complete clearance. All* classes of beef cattle were keenly sought after. Best quality cows, £9 to £11; medium £7 5 s to £8 15s, lighter £6 to £7 10s. heavy boners £4 to £5, medium £3 15s to £4 ss, lighter £3 to £3 10s. Prime cows and* vealers, £9 to £l3 2s 6d. Dairy heifers*, £1 Oto £ll ss. £lB/10/- FOR HEIFERS DAIRY SALE IN PAEROA At the special dairy sale conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Go., Ltd., at Paeroa on Tuesday ,there was a smaller yarding which sold at very satisfactory prices, heifers making to £lB 10s. Best quality heifers made from £l4 to £l'B 10s, medium £lo' 10s to £l3 10s, backward and inferior £8 to £9 15s. Best quality cows, calved and close to profit £lO to £l3, medium £8 5s to £9 15s*, others £6 10’s to £7 15s.
