LONG BAY PARK
QUESTION OF A GRANT REPLY FROM THE MINISTER At a recent meeting of the Coromandel County Council the Minister of Public Works was requested to
make a grant towards the improvement of Long (Bay Park, Coromandel. The Minister replied to the August meeting of tht council that the general grant for parks and domains throughout the Dominion was only £3OOO and there were about 800 parks and domains. However, he realised that Long Bay Park was used mostly by people living outside the county and he would see what could be done towards a water supply and providing camping amenities.
