Public Notices HAURAKI pLAINS W EST DRAINAGE BOARD NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY RATES. PURSUANT to Section 3 of “The Land Drainage Act 1908,” and its amendments, and to subSection 1 of Section 2 of “The Land Drainage Amendment Act 1913” and to Section 13 of “The Land Drainage Amendment Act 1922,” and to Section 54 of “The Rating Act, 1925,”. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board at the meeting thereof to be held in its office at Ngatea on Wednesday, the 3rd. day of October, 1945, at the hour of 11 a.m. to make, the following rates for the period commencing on the Ist. day of April, 1945, and ending on the 31st. day of March, 1946: — In the Ngatea-Pipiroa subdivision a general rate of three pence (3d), in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property classed “A.” In the Puhanga Island subdivision a general- rate of three pence three farthings (3?d) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property classed “A.” In the Waitakaruru Subdivision a general rate of three pence three farthings in the £ on unimproved value of all rateable property classed “A,” a general rate of two pence half-penny (2-ld), in the £ on the unimproved Value of all rateable property class “B” and a general rate of one penny farthing (l|d) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property classed “C.” The said rates will be due and payable in one sum on the 17th. day of October, 1945 to the undersigned at the Office of the Board at Ngatea. The Valuation Roll is open for inspection during Office hours at the Office of the Board at Ngatea. Dated at Ngatea this 18th. day of September, 1945. F. E. HAMMOND, Clerk and Treasurer.
